The true condemnation of the Hitler-Stalin PactGeorge Damian – Ziua – read here -
The word "denunciation" used to describe the "Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact" is a bad choice. First, because Romania can't "denounce" an international agreement it did not sign. Secondly, the "Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact" is an euphemism: after all, Ribbentrop and Molotov were just the foreign ministers of Hitler and Stalin, the greatest dictators to damage Europe ever. It is actually about the "Hitler-Stalin Pact" by which the two divided Eastern Europe for themselves, charting the territories for their influence. Poland was the most harmed by this bandit-like deal as this country underwent a fourth territorial redistribution. Romania lost Basarabia, northen Bucovina, the Hertza County and two isles in the Danube Delta”.

DNA activity is disasterRazvan Savaliuc – Ziua – read here -
69 prosecutors employed by the DNA lack the professional rank of High Court prosecutor, although the Department got to obey the Prosecutor's Office in 2005. Such severe flaw is because of ex minister Monica Macovei's amateurishness. In order to allow the DNA to investigate against MPs, she turned the anti-corruption department from an autonomous structure into a department of the Prosecutor's Office. And there was omitted a detail: most DNA prosecutors were not supreme prosecutors and no prosecutor working for a court, trialhouse or Court of Appeal had the competence to investigate on MPs“.

Die Presse: Reforms delayed in RomaniaGeorge Damian – Ziua – read here -

Die Presse comments that before the EU accession the reform of Romanian Justice progressed all right, but its intensity diminished visibly after January 2007, despite a significant economic growth. There is also mentioned that the dispute between the Romanian President and PM seems to be taking all the energy that should be used for making true progress in a country that has missed the train to improve its image within the EU”.
